Athiya Shetty QUIT Bollywood: Bollywood veteran actor Suniel Shetty's daughter Athiya Shetty has said goodbye to Bollywood and her film career within 10 years (Athiya QUIT Bollywood), which has been revealed by Sunil Shetty himself. In fact, in a recent interview, Sunil Shetty revealed why his daughter Athiya Shetty said goodbye to the Bollywood industry.

Sunil Shetty revealed that Athiya Shetty is leaving Bollywood

Let us tell you that in an interview, Suniel Shetty, while talking about Athiya Shetty's decision to leave the Bollywood industry, said, "Athiya said, 'Baba, I don't want to do it' and she just walked away. That's what I salute her for, 'I am not interested. I don't want to do films'. After Motichoor Chaknachoor, a lot of things came her way. 'But I don't want to. I am comfortable, you know?"

Suniel Shetty said this,

Continuing his talk, Suniel Shetty further said, "Right now, Athiya is focusing on the biggest and most important role of her life and today, she has got the best role of her life. You know, she is working in the best film. This is her life, her role of a mother and she is loving it." 

Athiya Shetty's Bollywood journey 

Athiya Shetty's Bollywood journey began with her debut film Hero (2015), a remake of the 1983 classic, in which she starred opposite Sooraj Pancholi. Her performance received mixed reviews, but she attracted attention with her charming on-screen presence. She then appeared in Mubarakan (2017), a comedy-drama about two friends who were born on the same day and switched at birth. In the film Motichoor Chaknachoor (2019), Athiya played a young woman eager to marry an NRI, in which she showcased her acting ability and confidence.

Talking about personal life, Athiya Shetty got married to KL Rahul in January 2023 at Suniel Shetty's Khandala farmhouse. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on March 24, 2025. They shared a joint post on Instagram, which read, "Blessed with a baby girl. 24.03.2025. Athiya and Rahul." Athiya is currently busy raising her daughter.
